3) NIKKI NAIR
Coming from Claude Von Stroke’s DIRTYBIRD camp, out of the Bay Area, California. Nikki Nair has been turning heads as of late. You can tell his sound is still developing, but what really stands out right now is his flair for experimentation. From chunky stepping breaks to mid 90’s big beat and beyond. His recent release with Nala ‘The World Is Always Ending’ really grabbed my attention. The vocal theme very much captures many people’s thoughts on society today, it reminds me of late nights out in London during the mid to late 90’s.
